72 hours in Dublin and Cork. Here's the 5 things I did and loved in the Republic of Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช๐บ๐ฐ๐
A few recommendations for ya.
Last weekend me and Tom spent 2 days in Dublin, then got a 3 hour coach to Cork so that I could fulfil a lifelong dream Iโve always had! The dream is a little bit niche so Iโm not sure if youโll have heard of it, but Iโd always wanted to go and kiss The Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle in Cork.
To kiss the Blarney Stone you have to climb to the top of a stone castle, then over quite a wide hole in the floor you lie down on your back, and lean back holding some metal poles to kiss the stone wall behind you. Legend says that if you kiss the wall, youโre given โthe gift of the gabโ, the ability to speak with eloquence and charm. So this weekend I did that, and it was great. Niche? I told you!
So niche life dream ticked off, but if finding the best spot to have the best Guinness is more your tempo, or you want to know the pizza place that was SO good we ate there twice in less than 24 hours, keep reading.
